   hi all there was a hairline crack about 3 inch long on my caseing so thought better safe than sorry and got it welded up just wanted to know if i need to file the inside right down to allow for the belt to clear it

   start the bike up then whip the cover off... if its not touching at full extention on the cluth it wont at full extention on the variator
