Battery charging help, is my charger too big?

Hi guys,

Got a new battery for my speedfight there, its tiny lol

Anyway it says on it charge at 0.4a for 5-10 hrs or 2a for an hour.

Well i only have a 6 amp charger, you cant set it to anythin else.

As soon as i switched the charger on the battery was making a sizzling noise so i turned it off again, is this normal? Dont want to boil the battery and ruin it.

Ive used the charger on motorbike batterys before i thought it would be ok, but this battery is way small. DO i need to get a wee charger that can do less amps?

Its a sealed bsttery.

yea sounds like charger is too big or battery needs to be replaced.... i think a scooter can charge at more than 6 amps anywayz...

i only turned the charger on for like 10 seconds it was sizzling like mad as soon as i turned it on so i switched it off again lol i think the fully charged light was on too maybe it was just pushing power right through the battery or something cos its too strong and the charger just thinks its fully charged?? i dunno much about electricity lol
