Before i start i have searched for the answers but found nothing

Hi i have an 06 aerox 50cc with 13,000km on the clock, the only things done to it are its de-restricted and has a hebo varator kit.

    I am looking to get:
    Polini sport 70cc kit
    laser xpro

Basicaly i need to now what the standard mainjet is in the gurtner 12mm carb and how much should i upjet by. Also what jets do i need to change them too and can i get them from scooter attack?

Is it worth changing the small end bearings (as the high mileage) ? (and how hard are they to change)

well the standerd jet just go take your float bowl off and have a look on your main jet the number printed!

small end bearing is in the top of the conrod so it will just push out when you change the piston for the 70 kit

id uprate your carb mate, thats what i was advised when i choose to put a 70 kit on my aerox/nitro. ive got a polini dellorto 21mm carb, drinks alot but works really well.

i was also advised to change the crankshaft but only because mine had done 16,000 miles, whereas yours has only done 9,000miles but i would consider a full circle racing crankshaft if i was you.

if you have a budget then maybe dont do the things i have advised to you.

    hope this helps!!

    typhoon 125 carb is a 20.5 but aparently setting a 20.5 up on a 70 is a right cunt.

quite rightly so, to fit a 70 kit to an engine with more than 2000 miles on the clock is asking for trouble as the crank has worn it's self to that ammount of power, the initial stresses have gone.

when fitting a 70 kit, you are putting near-on twice the power through, i always advise fitting a new crank to any bike prior to tuning, especially one with more than 5000 miles on the clock.

very true, the jetting can be tempremental, the idle mix is a sod to set-up and worse still, the auto choke works on a different voltage so has to be replaced with a manual one.
