On my street race 70 kit after 5 mins of use it was really poor performance up until about 30mph. So I decided to replace it with my 50 kit as i couldn't "set it up" I didn't remove all of the base gasket (stupid i no) and then the 50 base gasket was leaking and was doing exactly the same as the 70 bore after 5 mins of use was so poor acceleration up until 20 mph then would kick in! Could this be the problem from the 70 kit? As I left the first 50 gasket there (Little piece)? Cheers wedge.
You gotta get all the old gasket off both sides, it has to be clean as fcuk, it has to be spotless and flat so the new gasket can take up any minor variations. Until you know that's right, there's no point in looking for other problems.... HTH...
Yeah I no that, But I did tbh think it was all off, Mistake made and fixed. But could this be a problem? as it was slowly going
