just got back from a 10 mile trip to collect a set of vx forks, with front wheel and new tyre complete front brake setup and speedo drive/cable and a set of evo headlights for the grand sum of £40... happy days
The mountain bike was worth £500 and the aerox had just smashed it's barrel casting by catching it on a spike. I've got a spare 50cc barrel and piston so it's a freebie to repair. Its a nice bike with a chrome Leo Vince zx (needs bending now) that runs really quick I'm going to give it a tidy then sell it to go towards a car.
Just checked out the Chromed Leo Vince ZX exhaust and other than a small dent it's fine. My other friend whose bike also got damaged in the same incident hit the spike with his new stage 6 exhaust, it opened it up like a sardine can right at the manifold end. I bought the damaged exhaust off him for £20 just for the can. My dad locked himself in the garage for and hour with his MIG welder and hey presto, one nearly new fully working Stage 6 sport pro chrome replica exhaust bolted on my bike in place of a non chromed one. Result.
Both my mates are donuts, they tried to enter a skate park through the exit which has spikes in the road which fold out of the way when you drive out of the park but stay up to stop you driving in. Donut No1 one trys to ride in and rips open his new stage 6 exhaust and airbox on the spike. Donut No2 pisses himself laughing at him then does the same but the leo Vince exhaust is stronger and he rips the manifold casting off his cylinder. Never mind their loss was my gain and that's how I got to swap my mountain bike for a 2009 Rossi Rep and got a chrome stage 6 exhaust for £20. Theyre both cracking mates and a scream to go out with. But one will be pedalling like fuck to keep up now.
