so my brother had a scooter, peugeot trk 50. and its been sitting in a garage for many months untouched. and the keys are gone. i want to get it started before i spend any money on it. because it is garbage. and i was wondering if there is a way to make only the engine run trough the stator. bypassing the cdi and other electrical components. i have tried my self bypassing the ignition switch, but i cant get any spark. i know you kan buy ready to use pit bike engines that only require a kick start. so has anyone here had any experience in this project of mine, maybe give out some tips?
