lookin to do a bar conversion on my 06 aerox been on scooter attack and im looking at the str8 bar and stem was wondering whether this is all i need to do it, just the bar and the stem and would i just take all the parts off the existing bars like throttle, indicator and light switch and put them onto the new bars and re wire also looking at getting a digital speedo and fuel gage, any ideas??
all your switches should come straight off your standard bars and slide/bolt onto your new motox style bars so no need for re-wiring. As for a all in 1 digi speedo i'd look at the Koso ones as ive not really heard any bad feedback, speak to JJ he's the man for that
Thats about al you need ,but you might wont to extend the switch gear wirering as the block connectors are on a very short lead and look a bit unsightly ,when you remove all the plastic ,allso you might make an infill plate as when the rear top plastic handle bar cowl is removed you will have a big gap for the weather to bugger up the electrics,You might allso consider that to be leagal for an mot you will need a minimum of indicator warning lights an a high beem warning light,this can be done with simple green leds for the indicators and a blue led for the high beam light,and as for a speedo carnt realy find any descent cheap ones
cheers man where could i get the led's from that would be simple to set up ?? i might custom the LED's into the ignition panel
koso do a all in one with all the warnin lights with all the wiring and mount for like £80 adrenaline do them and scooter center
