Baotian BT125T-2 Fuel Gauge Issues

Hi folks,

So i bought the above from an Ebay auction and she was in fantastic condition. However, her fuel gauge shows half full when its actually empty. This I found out getting her home from the store!

Bearing in mind i know absolutely nothing about scooter maintenance, is this an easy/cheap fix for someone who does know what they're doing? Are parts easily sourced for Baotians?

Had the same thing on a customers Lexmoto Gladiator. And it was only 2 years old.

Cheers matey, i think it is....user manual typically unhelpful barring the name on the front. I'll give it a butchers later.
