Baffles???

    Alright lads as you prob know i got a leo vinci tt ppipe on ma Rox. Im thinking of taking out half the baffles from the end can. Will this make my bike blow up or anythin? Peace out :)

    Lol good question mate.... well it sounds abit to stock for my liking. I like things with abit more roar lolz :mrgreen:

    the stock sound is alot nicer than a TT with no baffles belive me youll regret it :p ;)

    bin up in the shed took half out. Sounds nice imo. its got tht tinny poping sound now. Aslong as it dont blow me bike up i ent fussed lolz. Btw ive saved the baffles just in case :)

    remind me never to ride with you one of my mates did the same the sound when riding next to him was appauling lol :grin:

    Lol i have learned tht lesson by the msitake of a friend who took them all out. We got pulled by the gavers and they tested it with a decibel meter, come back 90db, 10times louder than is leagal. Mine dnt sound tht bad lol. :)

    this is almost as funny as the whole powerband thing

    when you fit a big can to a 4t sports bike it has a baffel (little removable ring inside the baffel tube) 2 stroke pipes have baffel tubes but NO baffels.. so theres FUCK ALL to take out of a scoot pipe..

    Jus what ppl have told me they are. i mean the fibreglass like wool that packs the inside of the end can.

    have just looked on pedstop its silencer wool not baffles :blush: thanks for the truth MiNoR cOnFuSiOn, My ,mate is full of shit :grin:

    removing this will kill performance and make lots of noise... packing it full of new material as tightly as you can makes for better performance. but ye, anything the majority of people tell you is wrong... people know what there told, not many actually go against what there told and learn somthing
