    Hi there,

Checked the search but can't find what I need to know. My 2001 Aerox 70 has the carb off a 125 typhoon and is running standard pilot and main jet (think the main is 86.5) On initial pick up to around 5mph the bike will mostly be crisp and rev fine. Once the throttle is openined fully I get bogging and sometimes like a backfire through the exhaust. If I shut the throttle off to about 1/4 and hold it there I can hear the revs clear and gently apply the throttle again it will be ok. However after about 50mph if I open the throttle fully there is no bog whatsoever. I done a plug chop to see that the plug was tan coloured so it is not rich. However sometimes at idle if i open the throttle to try and take it off it will also bog and splutter and not really go anywhere! Is it to lean? I've seen most people with 17.5/21mm carbs are running at least a 95 main jet. Sorry for yet ANOTHER fuelling problem post :beg:
    Hope I have made sense.
    Thanks
    Tam

*Edit* It feels almost like it's running out of petrol. It is most defently not roller related.

try dropping the needle a notch each time see if that helps
