Basically, i was in mid air...if you get my drift.....pulled the back brake and bang, the lever falls flat to the bar :msn1: no reaction whatsoever. so after diggin my front wheel out of some random guys front garden. i realise brake fluid is pising out of the rear caliper... my pads have run really low recently, and its pretty much metal on metal at my rear disk, so i ordered new pads yesterday(before all this happend) just wondering what could the problem be, would the new brake pads fix this?
new rear pads need to go in and push the pistons back in if they have poped out but you need to take your resevoir cap and push your pistons back in and then re bleed the brake. also check that your disk isnt cream crackered due to metal of pads
this happened to me once... the pads had gone totally through and the disc was braking on the piston the piston worked until it got a hole in it then i needed a new whole caliper :w00t: so check if you piston got a hole just incase(especiallt if your doing wheelies)
just bought some front and back brembo brake calipers off ebay 30 quid delivered is that good? plus i should have my new rear brake pads here soon, and il use the old front ones. so ill fit it all and bleed ti so hopefully should be ok for ace....
