Hi all,ive been hearing a sort of ratchety noise on my scoot (jonway madness 125cc 2014 model),and it looks like its coming from the back wheel. When i put it on main stand and give at a short little rev,the back wheel seems to sound noisy,and when i checked earlier for loose movement,,there is a little bit of play when i move the wheel back and forth,maybe an inch of movement before the wheel has a little clunk sound,so in effect,i can move the wheel forward or backward before it "engages?",,does this sound familiar to anyone?. p.s. no sideways movement at all on the wheel,just forward and back.
