I removed my autochoke on my Delly 20.5mm carb to clean it up. And the brass bit & spring ejected into orbit! So I've bought a new one but it won't fit, it seems the brass part is 7mm wide which is the same as the brass seat in the carb for it to live. I'm stuck because the listing said 'for 2t' I've compared it with other listings and they all seem to be 7mm brass bits. Help!
Correct. The chokes are not standard across the range. You need the correct one for yours. The same as the auto chokes on the vx125's, 7mm brass plunger. They can be found if you look
Look at the response I got from Dellorto... Bunch of cherries these guys! Really you should ask the supplier on eBay, it's probably not an original part and will fail soon. It looks like you have part of the old one stuck in your carb., remove the brass piece. It's a PHVB20.5ED Best regards The brass part in the picture I sent them is the seat in which it seats. It has a hole in the bottom of it which the brass part seals. It seems to me that the brass part I need is about 5mm.
