I've had mine in for a day, love it! more power, especially low down! a bit more top speed too! I have nothing to compare it with although it does feel a lot like a 125 on pull away now - it's instant with a bit of grunt :D

You've not said what you're wanting it for, pure power or every day cruiser? I was looking at the Athena kits and didn't find a huge deal about them. For the sport setups I'd stick with the big names because for the price you know what you're getting. What sort of price difference is there between the kits your comparing?

Mind a friend had a DR 70 kit put on his Aerox and a few people said it wouldn't be much cop, few thousand miles later it's still pulling well. :)

The only problem i had with mine was with the head, where the antifreeze plugs in. The brass thing with the spring/screws was a little bit too small for the hole, so i needed to put a tiny washer there to secure it. not a big deal but a little head up!

Apart from that i really like the Athena HP kit so far - good all round power! good luck with the HPR :p

the flat top piston kits make good power down low. not really made for a revvy pipe. not to say they wont rev, just your waisting the gain of having the flat top in the first place...

try it for yourself, only way your ever gonna find out for deffinate. fact is no 70 kit lasts forever so its not the last one you will ever buy :)
