Area 51 variator question

    Hi all
    just stripped this and 3 of the rollers are flat so they need replacing
    what would the best weight be as i have seen many different weights?

    Weigh the rollers to get an average +/- 1 gram each then measure width/ diameter.

    You might have a different roller size than standard taking into consideration the different variator that is on it.
    As Marsh said above, measure the rollers across the width and length so you know you are buying the right size firstly, then search for rollers for that bike, BEEDSPEED did a list of most of the rollers, standard sizes and weights, for most of the scooters out there to find out what the standard weight was. Then buy standard weight and 1 gram lighter than standard in your size.
    See how you go from there.

    right according to beedspeed they are 15 x 12 6,5 g but that is on a 50cc on a 1998/00 mine is a 03 plate

    i cant see there being any difference in regards to year however i got a 70 cc head on so if i went down to 5.5g would these still be ok?

    They'll be fine, just check those sizes against the ones you have now and before you buy anything.
    Wasted money otherwise.
