I live in the USA, and around me, in West Michigan, there have been three scooter shops, and 4 or 5 auto dealer going out of business..... How has your dealers doing?
good, most of the shops open need not be there, you can buy parts online.. this credit crunch BULLSHIT will get rid of unneeded buissness and people making money from non essential buissnesses. it will create holes in the market but most of all it will bring the cost of housing down, its ALL engineered nonsence but it does have a perpous, i for one being in zero debt wiht zero mortgage/equity wont be affected, altho it makes it alot easier for me to go into buissness if i so wish. if there closing they wernt very good/needed. only the TRUELY needed services/buissnesses will survive these hard times.. yes it may all be to line the pockets of those in charge and further skank us of all our money/equity but po po for spending 300 grand on a 60 grand house. i predicted this move YEARS ago 9like ten years i been warning people) and everybody laughed... im laughing last i suppose.. and all these FUCKING RETARDED clueless overpriced dealers skankin people will soon be out of buissness as the more people struggle wiht money, the poorer the stupid get and its stupid people with money that keep idiots in buissness.
theres only two bike shops in my area and both are 20 miles apart and they seem to be making the money. im starting a bike MOT service and repair shop at my uncles old car garage ive been there all day clearing it out now i just need to do my best test in the next two months so i can MOT the bikes myself, credit crunch is bollox just people giving up because there scared they will go bankrupt
Couldnt really tell you to be honest, I dont even know where my nearest bike repairer is But ive noticed a lot of shops in my city centre have closed down, been boarded up!! like minor i have no mortgage or any real debt, and i dont even own a credit card anymore, paid it off and cancelled the account a while back....which is just as well really because ive been on a 4 day week for the last 3 or 4 weeks  Basically im £50 a week down on a 4 day week, but ive got enough to survive, just means i cant buy as many goodies for my scoot

I did score (buy) a new Nolan N-102 N com helmet for $67 US, and a USA made Brook 511 leather jacket for $125 US.... A custom motorcycle maker/retail store went under, and the bank had a auction.... I figured those banks rip off people right and left, with their fees and such, I didn't feel guilty getting a bargain from them.... There's some good bargains out there, because of the economy....
The Bank wrote me a letter once to say i was £5 overdrawn, and charged me £10 for the pleasure....geez thanks i guess im £15 overdrawn now :tdwn: personally ive got no sympathy for banks, i was gutted when the government poured billions of pounds into them to bail them out, I personally would of liked a few of the greedy bastards to of gone under  For the last decade the banks have been force feeding us credit, when you maxed out your credit card to the limit, their answer was to increase the limit, until a lot of people were so far in debt there was no chance in a month of sundays they were going to be able to pay it back :tdwn: I mean what was the big idea in that cratch:
