on my aerox i have a polini sport 70 but in all honesty my bike feels like a 50.
acceleration i'm pretty much the same as my mates standard aerox 50. top speed on a straight with my head down and not too much wind it will do about 60 mph.
downhill i have been clocked at 73 by my bro's new civic.

i was told before i got the polini sport that it is favoured by wheelie fans as it has a good low down pull. but i cant see it tbh.

    my setup is:
    polini sport.
    zx pipe
standard airbox and carb (gurtner carb wiht 68 main jet)
malossi belt. polini speedcontrol, doppler outer pully. polini torque spring. standard clutch with blue malossi springs.
standard crank. standard reedblock and reeds.

anyone know what i could do to make it faster. it has been reliable tho in all fairness.

Standard rox carb? the 12.5? so your running a 70 kit on a 12.5 carb, id probs go for the 19 or 21 you will notice more performance.

i ran a polini sport with a zx pipe (later replaced with an xpro) on my runner, and it was plenty nippy....deffo much quicker than any 50cc scooter ;)

i reckon you must have a set up issue :)

my friend put a malossi 70 kit on his aerox it pulled away very quickly then boged out at 20, a 19mm carb worked alot better after.

Yeah bigger carb would give you a improvement and maybe play with the set-up a little bit as it is. Also new reedblock and reeds with give a bit more out of it. Didnt you get reeds with the kit? they usally come with it.

seems problem lied wiith the exhaust. it was welded when i bought it and snapped the other day. thing is that top speed on it was ok on both 70 and 50. i have another second hand zx chrome on there. not been welded. 20 quid too so quite good going. it actually feels like it has a power pipe on there now lol. rollers are too light at 3g malossi tho :confused:cratch:
