Anyone got, or ever had, one of these ?.....an Aprillia Mojito, the 50cc version.....it's possible that one may be coming up for sale, just down the road from me.....I thought at first how ugly looking they were, but actually they are quite stylish......don't know how much yet, and nothing may come of it, but as before any for and against comments welcomed...
Morini motor. Pretty shitty to work on and shoddy quality in my opinion. Nice to ride, super comfortable. I really like them if the quality was a bit better.
Thanks for that, When I first saw it I thought how out of proportion it looked, but it's growing on me......they actually LOOK comforable to ride.....hoping to track down the owner tomorrow.......I wonder how much ?......
My brother got the habana . Havnt worked on it. But ive always felt they were of good quality. As with all scooters, That have the same model in higher cc. It felt like sitting on a train. Comfortable and stable. And the looks, more mature for us old folks
The Aprillia IS for sale.....'52 plate, V5 present, 10 months MOT, no spark, so non-runner.......£ 150.....any thoughts welcome.......
Very tempted Steve.....going to have a proper look at it on Monday......just looking at parts availability.......
So what's the difference between the Mojito and the Habana ?........been digging around and the general feeling seems to be that they simply changed the name.....I suspect that there is more to it than that, need to find out, as could be crucial when (or if) ordering parts......
Nope, it can't be that.....there are Mojito 50cc and 125 cc, AND Habana 50cc and 125 cc for sale on various sites....
There are styling differences ones more of a " custom"seem to remember "Rob the scooter lover" had both on his utube channel.
Dont remember exactly. But the steering handle on the habana isn't that chrome custom looking. More sleek. It has a little beefier passenger handle. While the mojito has more chrome. Bigger chrome handle. Smaller made of metal pipe passenger handle and a small chrome mud fender in the front and back. And some different graphics.
Thanks for the replies.....gonna offer the guy £130 for it tomorrow.....a bit more than I wanted to pay for an 18 year old non-runner, but there you go.....it may, or may not be a cheap fix, hopefully hours of fun finding out......
Its a really nice scooter. Myself have sometimes been in thought of buying one. Fortunatly scooter parts are cheap, in relation to cars motorcycle etc. Even fixing a no runner if the issue would be more severe doesn't cost that much
