Have Carb version of 2005. Engine type: Hyper2. Does it have an restricted CDI? cant find any info in google. Only Pedstop has to say that orginals re limited at 10`000rpm http://www.pedparts.co.uk/product/132/athena-de-restricted-cdi-and-coil-unit-piaggio to believe that or no? in some forums I have read that a lot of scoots after 2005y has restricted CDI`s. (the question is bc of my cylinder Hebo Manston Replica who has a half of full power under the 10`000rpm. After 10`000rpm it makes another 7HP)
Me again, cuz I saw today a good video where a scoot has the same settup as mine. (more or less). So the aerox dyno test with R1200: @8000 Hebo Manston Replica = 5.7 HP @9000 Hebo Manston Replica = 6.3 HP @10000 Hebo Manston Replica = 7.7 HP ----------------------------------------------- CDI limit @ 10500rpm? @11000 Hebo Manston Replika = 11 HP @12000 Hebo Manston Replika = 14.2 HP @13000 Hebo Manston Replika = 14.4 HP @14000 Hebo Manston Replika = 13.2 HP (14.7 HP is the Top @ 12.713 rpm) The video shows that Peugeot Speedfight 2 With Hebo Manston Replica cylinder with Yasuni R exhaust witch also is in my setup has 7.4HP on dyno test. So that meens that I had right about that I have an restricted CDI witch doesnt alow me to get the full preformance of the combo? (of corse I need to change exhaust, but Yasuni R can go nearly 11000rpm - so I dont think that the Yasuni R is a restrictor to my setup! My Yasuni R is derestricted.)
