so i bought a SR50 last year and left it untill a few months ago when my partner decided she wanted a scooter to get to uni on so started to fix it up, fitted new tyres, brakes, rebuild the fork legs to replace the seals got a few other bits like a seat ect sent it for its MOT and failed fork seal burst so fixed it and mot passed then had to wait 2 weeks to tax it, stupid DVLA. the other night it broke down and wouldnt start, had spark and fuel so pushed it home a few miles and found that it had a water leak from the head (skull cap) it was spitting water onto the back of the spark plug causing it not to start lol! so been fixing that today and found the head stud has snapped for the exhause and a exhaust mount bolt has snapped and caused the pipe to crack! when will the nightmare stop?? anyone else had problems like this? fix one thing then another breaks
well the head is cracked :banghead: just had to buy a new oneffs!mrsaint too happy either which makes me feel bad but what can you do but fix it ay :cry:
