Aprilia Sr125 fork/ bearing problem.

Hi all
Im haveing alott of trouble with my fork bearings.
I replaced the bearing with new ones as the old ones where pitted and worn.

Put it all back together the way it came off but now its really stiff to turn the bars.
Ive tried loosening the headstock bit by bit until it turns normal but then i have front and back movement and vise versa.
(Do it up a little gets stiff, undo it a little and get front and back wobble)
Any help or pointers would be very greatfull.

 

Did you change the outer race as well or just the bearing part?

 

Hi steveP its a friends bike and we changed both outer races.
We did try them with the old ones back on but still have the issue with them too even tho they where fine aha.
