Removed my headlight bulbs the otherday ( 2 x H7 55W Halogen Bulbs) & noticed they looked as if the glass had melted slightly, I promptly order a pair of Osram Cool Blue H7 55W Bulbs the same type as what came out. Went to fit them today and it seems that the old bulbs had infact melted through the two pods at the rear of the front light, does anyone know if these 'holes' are supposed to be there? Also have a slight query regarding the rear lights as mine only seem to have 2 bulbs, although there are 4 holes and the original wiring seems to have ben cut however there doesn't sem to be any clips/mountings for these missing bulbs, am I supposed to have 2 or 4 bulbs? Just like to point out its a 50 so doesn't have high beam. I'd really appreciate any help, as I don't have another SR to compare them to.
the rear light might have 4 single filament bulbs in a one point but sounds like some has made them into 2 double filament bulbs but not sure. EDIT: unless its a 125, should cope with that ok.
Ah.. Could explain how they melted then. Looks like I'll have to just buy a new front light then. Thanks for your help.
