has anyone got any idea if all aprilia sr bodywork is interchangable, i know that underseat aftermarket panels need changing as most are for the sr50, i was looking at an sr ditech set of panels and wondered if these fit my sr125 without modding them, cheers
cheers mate, was looking at them on easyparts, thata a nice setup you got there similar to what i am fitting, i bet it goes well? do you have any pics
another quick question mate, the panels on easyparts look like ditech ones i guess you need the small fairing that go's under the front screen, also they apear to have the wrap round bits near where your feet go like on the aerox, does that mean i also need ditech inner panels sheers for the help mate ill get ya a beer sometime
yeah they are the fifty panels, what you see is what you get. you need the little bottom half where the clocks are. the little grill thing that is just under the screen and also front mudguard. they will fit the standard iners. just fit straight on mate.
right there are 3 shapes of the SR, the Pre '97 ones, which you rarely see now, the '97-05(ish) ones and the post '05 models. ANY of the pannels from the 97 to 05 models will fit the 125, apart from the handlebar/clock surround pannel because the 50 and 125 switchgear is different, also the 50s quite often have a radiator mounted in the front pannel so the small section that slots in above the headlight has bigger vents or more vents on the 50cc LC models (will fit 125 no problem but 125 ones offer hardly any airflow, therefore no good on a 50 LC). there are 2 types of belly pan too for the SR but both are interchangeable.
