Aprilia sr 50 wont start

Hi I have this aprilia sr 50 that has been sat for a couple of years and I just bought a new battery for it and charged it up but when I go to start the bike I just hear a click when I press the electric start and I can’t start with the kick start either I was thinking it might be the starter motor am I right in thinking this or is it something else.

 

check solenoid/ starter motor.

 

Yeah, it's either the relay or the motor itself.
Why can't you start it with the kick?
