hi just wondering does any one know if the bottom steering bearing races are built on to the bike cause the one looks like its welded on and the one in the frame there is no lip on inside to knock it out like the top one ??

You need a long bar with a bend at the end to reach the bottom race, it can be difficult but doable. The race on the forks are just a tight fit unless someone has put a bit of weld on to keep it from moving?

If there's no lip to knock it out then as I've done in the past is to grind the race out using a Dremmel with the small fibre cut off disc's, it's a bitch of a job but it worked for me. I ground an area through to brake it's hold, Get a big bag of discs and go steady!
