i wouldn't recommend you doing it yourself if your a beginner.
take your ped to a garage and ask to have it de-restricted, usual costs is from £90 upwards.

it involves taking the washer out of the variator, and drilling a hole in the exhaust and welding it back up.

    hope this helps :good:

anyone with half a braincell can de-restrict a variator mate dont bother takin it to a garage youll get ripped off search around on here and read up and ull find out how to de-restrict it nothing major but the one thing you will need is a variator-locking tool there only 6 quid but saves you taking it to a garage ;)

Click 2 stroke, then de-risriction NIce little guide. Although I would recomend reading up first if your considering doing it yourself! If your not 100 per cent confident then don't do it. Read on here about jetting and I would suggest getting a "sports exhuast". Lazer Xpro is the best according to the guide on this forum.

I'd recommend this http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/s...ngId=-1&searchTerms=IMPACT+WRENCH&Submit=GO+> It use to be 19.99 but they've changed the name to RAC and added a 10er :(
Once you've derestricted you will not be able to stop yourself there so just get the impact wrench now & save yourself time and effort  You'll need it for changing rollers, clutch springs, belt, a variator kit, etc then changing rollers again, changing springs again, lol it's all good fun!
