ok so im trying to get my sr working again, had it running the other day for a few secs then itd die, so ive tighend up all the mounts n exhasut and bolted engine back in, now it wont start :banghead: been trying all day, does anyone have any ideas, ive cleaned carb, think i have it earthed right (blue n black wire bolted to frame) i dnt think its dodgy electrics as i put my typh battery on it and horn works, any suggestions would be extremely helpful :beg:

pull the plug out and check u have a nice blue spark if u dont check ur ht lead plug cap and cdi etc, if u do then make sure there fuel goin to the engine/carb then check ur engine has compression by either putting ur fumb over the plug hole and wined the bike over and see if it blows ur fumb away which is wat u want or buy a compression tester for like 20 quid and test it, hope this helps and u get the hure goin lol
ill try those things in the morning terro, it hasnt got a spark but i gt shocked when i touched the frame wen kicking over, im gna go buy a new plug and cap in the morning if shops are open, how do i check the cdi?
