well i got everything together it , it used to start for a second or two and then cut out, so i bought a new fuel tap, fitted it and it dont start now at all, im running 82 jet now , also tried 72 same thing , my spark plug is brand new but its a bit oily so i cleaned it, it gives spark etc, when i get some petrol in cylinder it dont help, i run premix, 20ml to 1l of petrol , any advice of what can i do ? ? will the garage charge me a lot to fix it ? as im good at mechanics etc and got few other bikes done they used to work fine but this one just dont wana work

20:1 ? Seems a lot. I run 33:1. You will find it will be abit smokey till it's started running in ( all the oil in the cases from fitting) are you using a open filter ? Starting jet is ? you want 5-10% for 70's 10-15% for exhaust so a 50 would be 70 ish.

i dont run 20:1 ! i run 20ml to 1 liter, and i got 2 boxes of jets 50-90 , i tried a 70 jet today - no progress , it looks like its a very weak spark so ill try to get a new spark plug tomorrow maybe

i dont get it... 50:1 ratio for ONE liter is 20ml.
the ratio doesnt mean 20:1 (20ml for 1 liter of petrol)

yeah ure right, that is it. but the ratio doesnt mean how the measurement of oil to petrol. asin 33:1 doesnt mean 33ml of oil to a liter of petrol. if ur ratio was 20:1 and youre measuring for one liter, then it would be 50 ml of oil per liter
