Hi all back again got a 2010 rs 50 new shape but carbs seems to be off the mark 1
issue I got revs up to full throttle the minute you start it
I thought air leak so replaced inlet rubber and manifold gasket
    Cleaned carb airlined the jets
Replaced all hose clips put all back together same thing happened ?
Picture of carb just to verify I'm right with hoses
    Blue lines water feeds
    Red line oil feed
    Yellow line breather?
If I put my finger over yellow line breather? Won't start at all
But if start without finger over yellow line breather?it starts but revs up to full throttle
But if I put my finger over yellow line breather? Slightly I can control the revs?
    Any ideas 20190106_133543.jpg

Check the carb slide is closed when you re-fit it to the manifold and before you start it?

It could be the mixture screw. Try turning it in half a turn to richen it up.

Tried that makes no difference at all
Only way I can make it idle is by putting my finger slightly over the hole marked with yellow line in first picture

Take the cable off the carb slide, take the idle screw all the way out, if the carb slide drops fully closed then the throttle cable is marginally too short. There may be an adjuster in the throttle cable about half way along, maybe......
Another thing, the swan neck into the top of the black cap can be screwed in and out quite a bit, but that carb slide should be fully closed with the idle screw taken out.

Oh yeah, they have a cable to the oil pump too.
Ive seen one of those splitter bits jammed open before, like the cable pulled out of it if that makes sense?

    Thanks for reply
Took cable of the slide and idle screw back out gave the slide barrel a slight rub with wet/dry
Check splitter where cables meet nothing still sitting in same position as picture
So my thinking now is definitely needle have to check tonight after work
