Hi, I need help with an Aprilia Habana 50 (year 2003).The engine has new piston barrel set new belt and rollers, I have also tried a different CDI unit with no effect, has nice clean carb and exhaust system all of which is standard equipment. The symptoms are. Engine starts and runs on mid to full throttle, but will not rev up and will only tick over if you hold throttle mid open. fuel is being spat out of carb and plug is always wet. This scooter is new to me and was like this when I bought it. I have disabled choke with no effect. I now suspect a wrong main jet, can anybody tell me what size it should have (The one in it at the moment is a 0.80mm). Also has anyone got any other ideas?
