Anyone modded the cvt belt cover with extra vent holes?

Hi all

I was going to remove this filter to help keep the temperature down inside the cover by the varitaor/belt/clutch but was advised its best to leave it in









Also i noticed my clutch drum has very little ventilation holes so i put some extra vent holes near the rear clutch and i had an old clutch drum so i decided to mod the drum too, it did not have many holes in it to allow the heat to escape so i put some more in it, if its does not work out i still have an original to put back on.
I can feel air getting push out now so it should run cooler i hope lol


Has anyone else modded their cvt belt cover with extra vent holes, and is so, did it help
