I saw this thing yesterday and I likes it a lot. It's called DERBI GP1 RACING 50. Anybody knows how many dollars this thing costs new? What about the technical side? Is this worth?

God awful things, although they do look the part...

Piaggio Hi-per2 water cooled engine, middle mounted with chain final drive.... slow slow slow and handle like a donkey with 3 legs on the sand.

They also now do the GP1 Open, which is the same bike but with the engine mounted at the back like a normal scooter... handles better but still a little wooden.

I read a review today and it said that these things are sport bikes and are made to run. I like the shapes but dous it deserve 2500 dollars to buy it?

Thats called advertising... ride one and youll see what i mean, suspension is too hard, it vibrates too much and the steering angle is wrong which makes it handle awful...

I wouldnt pay £500 for one, and im a derbi dealer

I can't seem to find any logic as to why they have postitioned the engine there, bet It makes it hard to work on.
