Alright guys, whats the law on riding on fields and local woods (on pit bikes..) basically, theres some local woods and trails.. and also a big field spot, whats the law on this.. like riding on it? what can happen etc.. also whats the law with the field that is owned, i think the woods are owned by gedling borough council..aint sure though, let me know guys!
im sure they will give you a warning first if they find you on there, then they can confiscate and crush your bike. thats whats happening around my place anyway!
On the private land you will get done for trespassing and if you tear up the field or any damage is done it is trespass and criminal damage, and if your riding on someones private land you deserve to be caught. Put it this way if you were ever caught on my land on a pit bike without permission you would be in serious shit. just remember you don't know whos land you riding on and there is some sick people out there.
i did this on my x-sport then give you 2warning then a section 59 to state next time you are caught the bike will be inpounded
They dont have to give you warnings, thats just luck, my mate on boxing day rolled out of his house on his brand new mini moto that he got for christmas, within 10 minutes the filth had taken it to be crushed. No warnings just a :bird:, cunts.
i pushed my m8s pit bike round the coner to his house and i would of got it taken off me if pit bike was warm and had signs that i had just been using it but i hadnt and it was cold as ice so they didnt take it off me and give me a bit of paper that went in the bin
there is a case of a kid who got caught pushing a 5mph electric scooter and he got 12 points, and had a 300 quid fine for pushing it down the road with a flat battery :w00t: to technically push a vehicle on the road you need a helmet on and tax, the old 'oh it aint started so you cant do shit' will work unless youve got a really anal copper... and your mate was unlucky riding on chrimbo day n gettin it conviscated, i rode my goped all day christmas day on the roads n never got caught, different story a few days later tho...
best bet is to go and talk nicely to a land owner, on you own land there shouldnt be a problem unless you are riding it at unruly hours of the day. it's only like strimming or mowing the grass
what ever you do make sure you ride it on private roads / land as the police crnt do jack as long as you have the land owners promission
yea, i had about 5 coppers try n do me for wheelying on a petrol station forecourt when i had the landowner's consent
:w00t: i love that look cops get the moment they find out they cant do you for anything, its a croos between :msn1: and with a bit of :wtf:
