Anyone inbirmingham area willing to look at my bike today please?

    hi guys,

    as i sure many will have seen i brought my son a gilera dna 50 for xmas,

    the bike was fine until yesterday. but for some reason yesterday it wouldn't start,

    i am not sure if its sparking if its a air lock stopping the fuel. or anything else,

    i am in kings heath b14 6qb bike is already stripped and in my kitchen so warm and dry,

    i know nothing about bikes but really dont want to give me son a busted bike for xmas.

    anyone able to have a look for me. i will pay im not after a xmas miracle ALTHOUGH 1 would be nice about now lol.

    i have the manual on cd but i am no mech and dont know where to start with the issue,

    i have done that and can not see a spark, although i did get a shock when i touch the metal of the bike by mistake.

    sorry for late reply had to run out, thank you for the link to the coil pack, that is what i need but none local for me at the minute.

    the above link won't work. can you pm it me. I do not even know if the bike has a kill switch. where would it be and what would it look like

    Most manuals (esp.paper) have a troubleshooting section per specific chapter an would usually include pictures in order to identify parts.

    Probaly on one of the handlebar switches for access,might wanna google a few pics to get exact location.

    That could be cos its not grounded.

    the coil has 3 wires going to it red, white, and green, they connect to it via a block connection and then the run off into a bundle of other wires in case in black plastic case so i am unable to check where the ground goes to check its ok. i assume the green is the ground as you would expect,
