anyone ever bought new crank cases?

anyone ever bought new crank cases and when they came the transmition filler cap has not been drilled and threaded along with the air hole has not been drilled where the water pump would go if it was water cooled has anyone ever experienced this ?? any help would be much apreshiated thankyou

 

Well it depends on what bike you're talking about? Minarelli engines e.g Italjet Dragsters, Aerox, etc. don't need to have a hole drilled out of the new crankcase because it's in the engine body, not the casing. Whereas some engines may need it in the casing.

 

Its a piaggio zip engine i have a d set of cases and the new ones but i have never seen it where the transmition filler cap hasnt been drilled or even the drain hole i thought this was done at factory just wonderd if anyone has had a simular experience?
