i went thailand last year on holiday and ened up going fishing twice this is what i court that was a 75 kg aropima we court 2 me and my girls step dad in that pik lol couple more piks now now this is english warters im fishing court a 18 pounder common carp and a 15 pound piks below any one do a bit of fishing ? :thumbsup:
I've got a house in France within walking distance to a lake, havent been fishing since i was a kid (a long time ago) been pulling out carp between 8 and 17 Kilos during my first foray back into maggot drowning last year, i was getting a bit scared at one point wondering what i was going to catch next. Going over again in a couple of weeks, told the missus i'm off carp hunting. I've got a bigger landing net now as it was hard to get them to fit into the smaller one i had last year. I caught more in wieght in one day than all the other fish i'd ever caught in my life added together! Roll on the 18th April!

This is just a small lake, its not one of the Dream lakes i've heard of. I drae say if someone who knew what they were doing got down there they would be pulling them out like nobodys business. I really havent got a clue. The total cost of the fishing tackle i have is about £50, that includes a tenners worth of Boilees. This was the biggeat one, it was 700 mm long and just under 17Kg, lovely fish. Bloody heavy. You can see why i had trouble getting it into the landing net.
yer thats nice mate leather carp init. do you not mean 17 pound coz if that was 17kg it would way 36 pound and it dont look like at 36 pounder lol realy nice fish tho :good:
A Frog came round an weighed it, took both of us to hold it up, i could fit 4 fingers in its mouth, it was big and wide. I never saw the wieght, just took his word for it. I've got my own scales now so if i catch it again ill know.
haha yer mate its a 17 pounder if u got a 17kg one core you would no abit it there massif yer put som epiks up im going fishing the weekend if i catch il put a pik of it up :grin:
Like i said, ive got me own scales now. Ill wiegh some properly, i know how hard the big one was to land and how heavy it was to lift out of the water, i know it was bigger than 17Lbs. Fecking frog, cant trust em to do owt, I know theres bigger ones in there coz i dropped a couple off trying to get them into the landing net on the second day. Its only €7 per day to fish on the lake if you can be bothered to get a ticket, no one ever asks. 3 weeks to go!
haha winding me up now about 3 weeks to go lol i might go sunday the lake i go to there up to 35lbs carp in there would love to hook in to one of them mayb one day hay and defo gonna go france in my life time lol
