i have a giannelli exhaust which has the washer taken out and rollers and i have taken the waser off the variator and i cant beat a de restricted sr are there any more restrictions in my aerox that i can take out? cheers
the sr is beating you mainly because it has a 17.5mm carb compared to your 12mm. also just because the rollers came with it doesn't necesarily mean there perfect for your bike and did you upjet?
instead of making a new topic up ill add to this one does any 1 no i was messin roud wiv ma mates aerox and was chekin it was derestricted and it was but didnt seem to be using as much as the roller ramps as mine so i took variator off and found another little washer (goldy colour) witch mighn ddosnt have so we took it out and it went faster but acceleration went poor so we put it bak ion and aceleration went good again but top speed down agen lol. any 1 no wot it is for ?
if its the little one where it goes on before the variator fan cover the last bit of the variator just leave that lol
yh i put it back in but adds around another 8-9 mph faster without it lol oh well tryed it out on ma mates bike atleast lmao
inlet manifold is restricted in aerox i think worth the 2 mins to take it off and check then its jetting
umm wheres the inlet manifold? and how is it restricted i know i shouldnt be allowed to own a ped lol but owell im a noob
the inlet manifold is the rubber connecting your carb to your engine, some have a restriction in this its a flap accross blocking some of the flow into your engine, you can cut/dremel em out but its easy to grind through to ther outside you can get an unrestricted one cheap enough tho if it goes wrong. the carb will work on your bike might need the new manifold though as not sure of the size of yours. not sure if its worth spending the cash for the rewards you will get, try setting yours up and getting your jetting spot on should be quick enough
