    Had fxr180 engine fitted in my fx125
    QUESTION..Is there a sump nut on a 2stroke gilera runner 180 engine?
    Cant find one anywhere to drain the engine oil out.
    2stroke tub under seat is topped up and new spark plug and carb cleaned but just cant find sump nut.
    Any help will be decent

    there is no sump nut , its a 2 stroke . if you want to replace the oil then drain the thank and refill . only other oil is gearbox , wich has a drain screw by the rear brake actuating arm . 6mm alen key , remove the dipstick from the top of gearbox (by the rear of airbox) and refill through there.

    Im used to droping the oil from a kx80 as they have like a sump nut under the engine and kx80 is 2stroke.
    I will go look for that nut your talking about.
    is it on the side of engine rather than the bottom.
    my 180 as disc brakes
    Thanks for replying with an answer, this site looks decent.
    8 weeks time i will be buying a carbon evo kit for my gilera 180 as they look very nice.
