    Hello all.

I did just write a really long well thought out post, then my lovely phone decided to totally crash just as I was pressing submit.

I've been into scooters for quite a long time now. Had plenty over the years and my addiction shows no signs of stopping. My ever changing collection currently includes:

    Derbi GP1 70
    Malossi 70cc kit
    Malossi variator
    Gianelli exhaust

    2002 Italjet Dragster 172
Ported PM Tuning 172cc Pro Street kit
    Malossi variator
OKO 30mm carb on a Stage 6 inlet and filter
    Scorpion exhaust

    2011 Gilera Runner ST 125
    Standard

I'll try upload some pics, if it crashes again I may just weep tears of rage then go to bed and try again tomorrow. I think there may be more stuff on the Dragster that I've forgotten, but I didn't do the work myself so unsure. It had a better crank put it, but not sure which.

It will be good to chat and read stuff from other people who are as into scooters as I am. I spend a lot of time getting nagged ny the wife to get rid of scooters, but I still plan on adding more. She's a bit scared because I've had a few quite horrific accidents on them, so I can't really blame her. They weren't my fault though, so I resent the thought of giving up riding just because other people can't drive.

    Cheers, Chris.

Cheers for the warm welcome. Bit of a delayed reply this, been struggling with internet on the phone aane at home.

Cheers, I'll try get some better pictures up when I can get on the PC. The Dragster is having a few new bits done to smarten it up as well. I recently put some carbon fibre foot plates on it, and am going to get some carbon on the front of it as well. Going to have to get the shocks powder coated as well as the rear one has degraded a bit. Still pondering on the colour.

The Runner will probably remain as it is for now as I've just started another project. I actually think this one is going to be pretty cool and a bit unique. I'm going to ditch the 70cc engine from the Derbi, and put a 125cc Dragster engine that I have in it. To avoid having to change radiators and mess with coolant I'm using the fans and cowling off an SR/Typhoon engine and converting it to air cooled. It's getting a 172 kit and all the usual tuning goodies, and I'm going to put a PM59 on it. Not sure what carb to use, I might just use a Dellorto as I do get some issues running the OKO with the big filter.

After that just going to stick some Malossi forks on it and give it a nice paint job and I think it will be a great little bike. I don't think I have ever come accross a 172 Derbi, and it's always nice to have sonething a bit different. I'll try post pics as it's going along as well as when it's finished.
