Hello all, I've just brought an '02 Gilera Ice (my first Scoot). I found your forum through a Google search, looks like a good site to be on! The Ice has one or two issue's so I'm hoiping the weather isn't too bad over the Xmas break so I can get some work done!

yeah i was down your neck of the woods shiny red on fri in the works van!! There was an accident on the M40 on my way back from woking...so instead of sitting in it for hours I took a de-tour up the A40 then A44 through woodstock, then got on the A429 at Moreton in marsh... which is pretty close to Stroud

Welcome matey. My parents would never let me bring my ped into the kitchen for work. I get a bollockin when a few tools are left out in the garage, let alone having oil all over my kitchen floor :emb:
I know a lad from milton keynes with a Runner 125...he comes on here occasionally...his names gareth or Goodship9002 or something like that

The Ice has quite a bad fuel leak which I think the fuel tap is the cause of, checked all hoses, float jet & float. The lights & electric start were working when I brought the ped a few weeks ago but after lifting it in & out of the car hey no longer work, possibly some wiring has come loose somewhere, the rest of the electrics are fine. I think I'm gone to need a new back tyre, new number plate & it should be ready for an MOT (after I've given it the once over). Can anyone tell me a good place to get parts from? I've heard some bad stuff about the few local bike places so I'm a bit stuck for a parts supplier. Thank you all & thanks for the warm welcome!
for standrad parts this site isa quite good. pretty cheap and good delivery. http://www.gileraspares.co.uk/SPARESGILERA/default.asp and for aftermarket parts there is a links page somewhere on the forum. the german sites are the cheapest and good delivery too.
