Hi all , need some help i had my aerox running last year but the mechanic who used to work on my aerox needed a few parts off my bike so i gave them to him for a lend and never got them back

    will post up pics later

    i have a 70cc mhr kit,polini crank 12mm high end i think,yasuni c30 exhaust,mallossi variator,belt,gear kit,mallossi clutch, malossi cdi unit etc

the parts that are missing are the carb?and jet size for the 17mm carb? thinking about getting 17mm(dellorto)carb with auto choke as the old one had a manual choke and was a cunt to start

the gideon pin is also missing and clips and so is the small bearing on the crank 12mm.

anybody know replacement part numbers or links for these parts?
    any help appreicated
    thanks
    mark

most larger carbs run manual chokes, i have a 25mm on my runner with manual choke and i only have to use the choke if its been sat out in the cold,

even with the choke its one or 2 kicks to start and then turn the choke off after a few seconds

17mm carb on a mhr kit is all wrong... (unless a replica)

You need at least a 21mm... Manual choke isnt that much of a bother is it?... one flick, 2 kick starts and another flick! :D Good to go!

The small end bearing; well you can get any brand as long as they are 12mm (12*17*15 if I remember well). Some are even a bit longer but that doesnt really matter (Wouldnt put a shorter one than the rod though!). I used a Stage 6 small end bearing on a MHR crank 12mm no problem.

Why not go get your parts back? :D

cheers was hoping to just use a 17mm as money is tight at the moment and then upgrade later?do most people cut out the underneath of there seats to access the choke easier?

cheers just the info i needed wasnt too sure if they were interchangable or not is scooterattack or pedstop the best and cheapest for parts too btw? living in ireland too if that makes a difference

hes after moving to germany as far as i know was a friend of a friend and my friend and havent got contact with him now which sucks

I would recommend pedparts as they are cheap, extremely reliable, knowledgeable and deliver super fast. A-Pedstop is good too, but you tend to have more racing parts with pedparts a they can pretty much order anything if you phone them.

Only used scooterattack once recently to order a polini for race 4. Pretty good too, but prices were a bit high. Wuldnt have bought it from there if I had the choice but they were the first ones to have it available.

There isnt much of a difference between a 17.5 and 21mm carb to be honest... you simply cannot run a mhr 70cc kit well on a small carb.

cheers ill have a look at pedparts and a-pedstop hadnt heard of them im sure it might be hard for me to find the parts im looking for though :)

about the carbs i was thinking the 17.5mm would do me as im pretty sure there was a 21mm carb on it before but anything over 60 percent throttle would flood the engine and bog it down

im a bit new too this modding scooters again had an aerox running just a leovinci pipe and rollers a few years ago and got a glanza V since and picked up this aerox engine off a friend of mine cheap with a nice few spare parts.

is it the size of the carb being too small is what you think is odd?

would you recommend a 21mm or bigger im just trying to get it running nice for now not top end speed or crazy power!do you think the 17.5mm will run well its only about 70 euro for the 17.5 like hence why im heading that way?

21mm is about what you would need to be honest. That would make it run good once setup.

An MHR kit and a C30 are thirsty they deffo arent parts youd want to use with anything LESS than a 21 IMO. Id even go for something a bit bigger personally..

The only carbs that come with autochokes are smaller than 21 so you will be seriously limited if youre 100% after that. Theyre just something to go wrong though honestly

The parts you need should be in the mhr piston kit

You're worried about spending to much, then why on earth would you have a 20+bhp kit :/ I'm running a 24mm pwk carb on my s6 racing MKII.
