I know a few people who swear by them. They are supposed to close the front pulleys further pushing the belt up more than normal. They work best when you buy the Dr Pulley variator as well.
to be honest they look cheap, chinese, crap probably one day wnders... but we can only tel if someone sets trends and gets them first who can afford to risk his bike :w00t:
is it me or is the whole point of rollers to roll? variator rollers flick out and force the pulley in which forces the belt into a higher gear (crude explanation but its like this yeah) these rollers are just gonna start rattling round because they dont roll? or flick out after a massive flat spot and jam the pulley so its stuck in a higher gear :wtf: (im basing this purely on theory :msn1: ) that plus theyre for the cheap shitty chinese 'huflungdung' n other 4 stroke scooters which are slower than 2t 50's lol
Thats right they do roll outwards and open the pulley... but they dont roll outwards by much, half a revolution or so thats why you get flats, if you think about it!! the roller always rolling backwards and forwards on the same patch
Why do you have to change your weight when they wear flats on them then because if they didnt roll then flats wouldnt matter would they
once they are flatted they cant move backwards and forwards in a nice smooth linear way.... thats why they have to be changed....be like trying to roll a 50pence coin (50p coin is hexagonal, for those people who dont use British pounds and pence )
your rollers dont actually roll, they slide hence only get flat spots on 2 parts.. didnt even look at the link but im assuming your looking at the D shaped roller's.. in wich case theres a larger surface area of the roller so altho theres more friction they wear less (usually lighter weight doe to the friction) but ye supposedly last ages
