    Just introducing myself...

My names Jim, I'm 26 and I live in Derby.

Decided randomly to do my CBT last month with a view to taking my full test at some point.

I've bought a Gilera Runner ST 125 for the time being to get road experience under my belt.

Predominantly used for the 5 mile commute to work and nipping around running errands.

I'm loving the bike and I literally find any excuse to ride it.

Nice to meet you Jim. I'm wanting to progress and get rid of the L Plates within the next month or so.

It feels ages since I completed my CBT, yet it was only a few months back.

They seem to go round the houses a little. But I suppose they have to before we progress onto the roads. I just hope it's straight forward when I move up to Mod1 and Mod2.

Provisional's were essentially indefinate back then,
you sent off for it in the post, got it about a week or so later an then you were legally otr, subject to t+t.insurance.,
taught yourself how to ride,or family members advised (mine was 60+ yr old Grandad, once i'd managed to prise him off the bike.!.).,
Did 4 yrs on my provisional before I took my test.
