Hi guys, im having a bit of an issue with my ajs modena, ill give you some history. first i managed to blow the piston rings resulting in me buying a new piston and barrel opted for the 150 kit. then the crankshaft shattered so i ended up getting a new engine. the engine that is now fitted is a gy6 170cc, the problem that im having is that when i get to 20mph it starts to bog down if i let off the accelerator i can get to 40mph gradually but then it bogs down and will not go any more. i have done the air / fuel mixture, put bigger jets in the carb, and had a cone filter fitted. none of these things have helped. the carb im using is the standard ajs factory carb which is a 150cc should i get a larger carb? i have seen this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Keihin-CV...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649 could my cdi be not liking the engine? im now at a loss of what to do ... please help.
