Hi guys I’ve bought a AJS Firefox for my son and fitted it with a bigger carb and fitting it with a 70cc kit I’ve been checking everything on it and noticed the rollers have a flat spot on them I take it they are not ment to be like that so what I’m asking is now I’ve put the bigger carb and 70 kit on it what’s the best weight rollers to use as I’ve not got a clue and also do any of you know a decent exhaust system as it’s still got standard on it thank guys
The roller weight will depend on a number of variables, such as variator fitted, torsion spring rating in clutch and type of clutch. I've got six gram weights in my variator, the pollini variator come with 6.8g weights. You may be able to help me, I've just fitted 72cc kit to modena 4T, what size carb did you fit and what main jet are you running?
