airsal kit . black piston ring and 1 silver which goesat top

    as above i bought an airsal kit to go on a lil zip project does that black piston ring go closest to the dome or at the botom

    i seem to remember someone else asking this a good while ago :confused:cratch:

    and if i remember correctly the black ring went on top...

    ye siver on top always. the harder ring (the plated one in this case) is always the upper ring. airsal are cunts for not putting this info in the bo with the kit as this thread proves, most people wouldent know as kits usually have mtching rings these days.

    clean the kit up, there pritty ugly in stock form but can perform REALLY well if your handy with a dremmel. i have one of my old kits and the maps from it wich worked well :)

    ahhhhh sound didnt realise one was harder wondered why they were different . yeh i noticed that the ports were a little (cough LOT cough) messy mate haha i cleaned them up there were a few burrs that were just bad news i got rid of and i also widened the exhaust port and manifold and matched the transfers up to the flowed cases it should be a nippy lil bike but nothing to unreliable realy .

    21 mm carb 125 mani and reed opened a litlle bottom end rebuild on a good but standard crank flowed cases matched airsal ginallei reverse rollers belt springs contra
