Air filter

If i fit a proformance air filter will i need to rejet the carb ??

What would u recomend going up to

 

well what bike / scooter is it , what carb is on it , what main jet size is in it now , and you do realise you will get no performance gains on a standard 50 unless it has a decent 70cc set up , all you will do is gain noise and loose fuel consumption , not to mention there a pain in the arse to set up correctly and they suck in water if its not a covered one

Ok think i will just forget about it any ideas what i can do to make my boation 50cc faster i have de restricted it but am only getting 35 mph out of it

 

is it 2stroke or 4 stroke buddy if its 4 stroke you wont get much quicker than that to be honest

yeah you wont get much quicker than 35 mph out of it , to be fair mate id sell it and get your self a half decent 2 stroke which will do 50 mph standard with basic derestriction and maybe a sports pipe like a aerox , runner , nrg , typhoon , just to name a few

 

I have just bought this one so not really got the cash to buy a 2 stroke

 

How have you de-restricted it? What have you done to it?

 

Cut a pink wire near the cdi box and removed a gold thing in the carb

 

maybe you need to remove the restricor spacer from the variator, if fitted then the exhaust if you vcan grind it out..
