    Well i was on the way home from my mates and my bike sounds fucked as it is but i came to the end of one street and it started makeing a funny noise like the belt came lose so i checked it and it was fine i started the bike back up and it was still makeing a funny noise and it wouldnt even pull away i ended up pushing it home wich took about an hour any ideas of what it could be? thanks

    check to see if the vairiators loose on the scooter, it happend to my mate a cupple days ago it just came loose an got jammed with his kickstart and took a few off the teeth off on the pulli, so it could be that check to see if the vairiator has any play in it hope this helps.

    same thing happened to me.
    you should put some loctite on it so it doesnt come loose again

    when ever you are fitting the variator make sure theres plenty of slack on the belt at the front pulley...

    that way you dont trap the belt between the pulley halves when you tighten the variator nut up...

    you may have to push the belt down the rear pulley a bit to get some slack at the front ;)

    do it this way and your variator wont come loose and you wont need loctite!!!
