hey ive had a similar problem... took my aerox to garage in november when my m8 crossthreaded it when screwing in new spark plug -.- they changed the part that was crossthreaded then got it back and started first time and everything was fine.... month and half later and now it doesnt start :/ managed to get it going for like 5 seconds then it cuts out only way i can get it to start is if i rev it on full from when i kick start it and then hold down throttle and brake .. get on it and ride without releasing the throttle but i dnt do it coz i dnt wanna damage the bike any more :L after its been ridden down the road it wont cut out .. soo its only having the problem starting :/ not when being ridden... if any of the people above sorted there problems :p can u pass on how u did it . cheers

sounds like an air/fuel mixture problem to me. I had a similar problem with mine. I disconnected the air filter and placed my hand over the carb air inlet. letting my hand completely seal, then moving away gradually while still turning the engine with the starter motor. somewhere in between the engine started. then it was a very weak mixture I was getting and had to play around with it after. it might not or might help you but its maybe worth a try.
