Okay, so i have an aerox, fully de-restricted, Yasuni z, runs fine! I'm looking to buy a 70 kit, but.... Where to go from there? What else do i need after installing it? Whether it be crank, clutch, carbs, upjetting, basically what other bits need to come after installing a 70 kit.? cratch: What long term affects can it have and what would i need to change? I know it sounds like I'm severely special to all you ped monsters out there but seriously, this is the best place to post, and i'm unsure.. :glare: I know the very basics but, yeah, little help please? :good: Cheers
Re: Aerox, Steps after 70 kit, what else do you need? -CLUEL first you need to choose a 70 kit, now there are lots of different ones out there so start of with a 70 sport kit ( polini or malossi) it will last you a long time and give you some good power. after you have chosen your 70 kit then choose your exhaust, your yasuni z will work with a 70 sport kit but a yasuni R would be betta, and another good upgrade is the carb get a good 21mm carb (dellorto)
Re: Aerox, Steps after 70 kit, what else do you need? -CLUEL And then buy a jet kit for the carb, and keep going up jet sizes till you get it spot on.
Re: Aerox, Steps after 70 kit, what else do you need? -CLUEL I would be inclined to do the reverse, starting high and working down. Having said that, it's quite difficult to seize a sport kit so it's not that crucial.
Re: Aerox, Steps after 70 kit, what else do you need? -CLUEL im in the same position as this guy, im getting a 70 kit but would i need a new crank? my bikes done 15,000 miles which i think is alot for the age and ive heard it depends on the age of your crank as to weather to get a new on or not? please help! thankyou!!
Re: Aerox, Steps after 70 kit, what else do you need? -CLUEL u dont just buy a crank becasue your engine has done many miles, you gotta think, theres tuning potential in a crank aswell, higher reving, ballanced, slight better acceleration, if your fitting a 70 kit you may aswell get a decent crank aswell.
Re: Aerox, Steps after 70 kit, what else do you need? -CLUEL Most aftermarket cranks offer better perfomance than standard, it all depends on your budget amd what you need
Re: Aerox, Steps after 70 kit, what else do you need? -CLUEL im getting a stage 6 street race 70 kit on payday, then and a 21mm stage 6 carb. ive got a stage 6 pro rep pipe what you you reckon? motoforce any good, they seem to be a bit cheaper than some others as i havent got a whole load to blow?
Re: Aerox, Steps after 70 kit, what else do you need? -CLUEL why are you getting a new pipe if youve already got a decent 1? but if your going to replace it get the s6 pro exhaust and a 19mm carb loose slight amount of power but gain in reliability
Re: Aerox, Steps after 70 kit, what else do you need? -CLUEL im not getting a new pipe, im thinking about getting a new crank
Re: Aerox, Steps after 70 kit, what else do you need? -CLUEL ooh read your post wrong then lol get a stage 6 crank
Re: Aerox, Steps after 70 kit, what else do you need? -CLUEL you can get the motoforce renforced crank if your on a budget, iv had a TNT crank in the fast, was well balanced and was failproof for many 1000's miles, again cheap and cheerful
